This was the key message from both Ralph Sammeck and Dirk Winkler from Koenig & Bauer as well as Johan Schur, CEO of Schur, when Inkish TV interviewed them on the subject in October 2021.
In 2016, when Schur wanted to build a brand-new site for our Schur Pack activities in Germany, we teamed up with Koenig & Bauer to make the workflow as automated as possible. Koenig & Bauer are specialists in printing presses and Schur Technology are specialists in logistics solutions. The combination of this know-how has ensured that the factory in Gallin is fully-automized and the efficiency is consistent in all aspects of the workflow. Ralph Sammeck, CEO of Koenig & Bauer, elaborates:
